Wayne B. Clough, 74

SACO - Wayne B. Clough, 74, of Lincoln Street, passed away Monday Oct. 30, 2017, at his residence with his family by his side. He was born in Hollis Center, May 1, 1943, the son of Robert and Lillian Edgerly Smith.

Wayne attended Dayton schools and was part of the class of 1961 of Thornton Academy.

Wayne first served in the United States Air Force and then with the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam conflict. For 30-plus years, he was employed by VIP Tour Charter in Portland.

Wayne enjoyed working on Mustangs, and the company of his dogs.

Survivors include his wife Pamala Clough of Saco; two sons William Clough Sr. and Evan Porter, six daughters Caro Clough, Robyn Letellier, Heidi Clough, Patty Boutin, Lisa Hayes and Cathy Fournier; a brother Hebert Smith, three sisters Nancy Roberts, Robin Clough, and Katherine Clough; 24 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Per Wayne's request, there will be no service. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

The family would like to express special thanks to Pamela Travis and Hospice of Southern Maine for their excellent care.
