Thomas J. Fleury
NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. - Thomas J. Fleury of N. Fort Myers, FL., husband of Shirley Chase, died on June 27, 2018. He was born in Worcester, MA, the son of Eli and Loretta (Connor) Fleury.
He served in the Army from 1953-1955. Formerly from St. Petersburg FL. He worked for many years at Murray/Courier Printing Co., in Westford, MA and enjoyed summers camping at Red Apple Campground Kennebunkport, ME., going to American Legion in St. Pete FL. as well as dancing and cribbage in N. Fort Myers.
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Shirley and walking companion, Charlie (dog); one son, Chris and his companion Donna of Leominster, MA; one brother Joe of Oxford, MA; two daughters, Sandra Campbell, Cheryl Canney and husband Mark of Ayer, MA; two grandchildren, Lauren and Kelly; one great-grandson Austin; two nieces Marlene and Karen. He was predeceased by his parents; and former wife Elaine. He also leaves some very special friends: David and Jane Berg, Sue and John Kujawsi, Joe Simone, Marcia and Sonny Baker and all his friends at Bucccanner Estates.
The family would like to thank Lee Memorial, and staff of Surgical Progressive Unit on 8th South, especially Jay who was his nurse, the short time he was there. Private memorial services will be held by the family in the summer in Kennebunkport, ME. Arrangements entrusted to National Cremation and Burial Society – North Fort Myers.
