Shane Miklas, 36
BEVERLY, Mass. - Shane Miklas, 36, died Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017, unexpectedly, at home.
He was born in Whittier, Calif., the son of Terrence Miklas, of Hampton, N.H., and Rebecca (Sciacca) Miklas, of Florida. When Shane was young, his family moved to New England. He was a graduate of Newburyport High School Class of 1999, and University of North Florida Class of 2005.
Shane held the position of Senior Business Development Office at Stewart Title Guaranty Company where he worked for many years.
Shane was the seventh son and the bright light of the Miklas clan.
In April, Shane married Amanda (Patnaude) and together they purchased a home and moved to Beverly. Shane and Amanda loved their new home and enjoyed entertaining and cooking for friends and family. Shane also enjoyed his sports and keeping up with his L.A. teams.
Shane was very charismatic with a magnetic personality. He was loved by so many and had a wealth of friends. He had a true zest for life. And best of all, a heart of gold! Shane's bright light, warm wit, energy and love for his family will truly be missed.
Surviving him, in addition to his wife and parents, are six brothers, Eric Miklas, and his wife Stacey, of Florida; Jamie Miklas, of Florida; Noah Miklas, and his wife Jennifer, of Cambridge; Torin Miklas, of Florida; Niles Miklas, of New Hampshire; and Joel Miklas, of Florida; paternal grandmother, Margaret Miklas, of California; mother-in-law, Elaine Levasseur, and her husband Mark, of Maine; father-in-law, Rick Patnaude, of Maine; sister-in-law, Jessica Melanson, and her husband Robert, of Florida; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and colleagues.
We ask that you love your family and smile at your neighbors today and every day in Shane's memory.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Oct. 14, 2017, in the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot St., Beverly, at 10 a.m. Visiting hours will be Friday, Oct. 13, 2017, from 4-7 p.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. Directions, information and condolences can be found at:
