BRADENTON, Fla. - Paul Christopher "Chris" Millington, 59, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2018 at Blake Medical Center in Bradenton, Florida.

A longtime resident of Portland, Chris was born on July 28, 1959, the son of the late Richard J. and Dorothea A. (Feeney) Millington. He graduated class of 1978 from Cheverus High School and spent his career serving as a Terminal Operator starting at Amoco Oil concluding at Gulf Oil.

Chris was known for his tremendous generosity and always trying to force a delicious plate of food upon anyone who came through the door. He had a way of making an impact on every person lucky enough to meet and get to know him. His greatest achievement was his son Jordan, who he taught to have his strong work ethic and compassionate heart.

Predeceased by his sister Donna M. Millington, he is survived by his son Jordan and wife Sheila Millington; his brother Patrick Millington, and three sisters, Deborah Watts and her husband Robert, Dorothea Orlando and her husband Henry Orlando Jr. and Marytracey Jensen and her husband Alan; along with mounds of nieces and nephews who he loved dearly.

There will be a graveside service at Calvary Cemetery of South Portland at 11:30 a.m. Dec. 15, in the Our Lady of Sorrows section to remember the remarkable person Chris was.
