Larry and Janet were involved in many community and religious organizations. He was a selectman of the Town of Harpswell. Larry was an avid motorcyclist and he traveled with Janet as well as his good friends, Ed Johnson of Bailey Island and Don Lipoff of York, to many parts of North America.
Larry was a devout Christian and was a member of a number of area churches, including the Orr's Island Methodist Church, Maine Street Baptist Church and All Saints Catholic Parish. Larry was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
