Kenneth W. Garnett, 81
BUXTON - Kenneth W. Garnett, 81, passed away on May 6, 2018, at his home in Buxton.
He was born in Portland on Jan. 8, 1937.
He attended Portland and East Machias schools, and graduated from Portland High School.
Throughout his life, Kenneth worked as a carpenter.
He enjoyed carpentry, reading, playing Texas Hold 'Em, and going to camp in Naples.
He was a member of the Bar Mills Rescue for 10-plus years.
Kenneth was predeceased by his parents, Kenneth and Polly King; and siblings, William, Thomas, Bruce, David, and Donny.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Teresa (Sanborn) Garnett, of Buxton; children, Sherry Elliott, of Porter; Wayne Garnett, of Limington; and Jennifer Schulze, of Wisconsin; five granddaughters; and two great-great-grandsons.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 12, at 3 p.m. at Highland Cemetery, Church Hill Road, in Buxton.
