John Primmer, 58
SANFORD - Mr. John Primmer, 58, of Sanford, Maine died unexpectedly, Aug. 6, 2018, at his home following a brief illness.
Born in Beverly, Mass., he was the son of the late Wesley E. and Blanche M. (Page) Primmer. He was raised and educated in Beverly, and was a graduate of Beverly Trade School, class of 1978.
Mr. Primmer had been employed as a Machinist in the Beverly area for many years.
A loving brother and uncle, John was an avid skier and ski racer in his younger years, and loved to spend time in Rangeley lakes area of Maine.
He was a member of the Beverly Racquetball Club and loved to play cards every Thursday with Paula and Gary. John grew up in Beverly, Mass., and lived in Florida, Rangeley, and most recently and for many years, had been a resident of Sanford. He was an avid animal lover especially his beloved feline companions, Thumper and Frannie. He will be deeply missed.
John is survived by his siblings, Kathleen M. Curley of Hampstead, N.H., James E. Primmer and his wife, Rosalind, of North Andover, Mass., and Paula Bernard and her companion, Gary Barton, of Sanford; and several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
His funeral service will be held in the Peterson-O'Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple St., (Route 62) Danvers, Mass., Monday, Aug. 13 at 11:30 a.m. Relatives and friends invited. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Beverly, Mass. Visiting hours prior to the service from 10-11:30 a.m.
