SOUTH PORTLAND - Joanna F. Morrill, 77, of South Portland passed away peacefully on Nov. 27, 2018. Joanna was born on Jan. 31, 1941 in Portland, to Leonard and Margaret (Fuery) Cash.

She was predeceased by her husband, John; and her brothers, Gene and Phillip Cash.

Joanna is survived by her children, John and his wife, Lori of South Portland, Kathy and her partner, Terrence Colby of New Gloucester, son, Steven of Portland; four loving grandsons, Joseph and his wife, Lauren of St. Augustine, Fla., and Brandon, Connor and Camdyn of Maine.

Joanna met the love of her life at Northgate Bowling Alley and they eloped on March 5, 1963. She was a stay at home Mom until her children were older. She then became a mainstay at what is now the SMCC cafeteria. She is best remembered as the Unit Helper for PC3D at Maine Medical Center. She was an amazingly kind woman, full of life and always ready with her daily joke.

A special thank you to Donna and Dennis Daggett, our parent's best friends, and angels, here on earth.

The family would like to especially thank every PHENOMENAL staff member at the South Portland Nursing Home.

A Memorial Mass will be held 11 a.m., Monday, December 3, at Holy Cross Church, 124 Cottage Road, South Portland, with a reception to follow.
