Howard "Mickey" Ray Clement, 77

WATERBORO - Howard "Mickey" Ray Clement, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2018, in Largo, Fla., with family by his side.
Mickey was born in Eastport, Maine, on Aug. 26, 1940, the son of Howard "Tubby" and Elsie Sutherland Clement. He grew up in Pembroke and attended Pembroke schools. After graduating from high school, he proudly served in the United States Air Force.
He retired from the railroad after working at Rigby Yard in South Portland for many years.

Mickey loved to hunt and fish, and later in life, he liked to people watch. What made him smile most was to give his great-grandchildren rides on his scooter. He especially enjoyed being able to go to Florida in the winter to get away from the snow and cold.

Although Mickey was not much into dancing, he will be remembered for his "Dennysville Stomp" and "Big Bad Leroy Brown", which always brought on a few laughs.

Mickey is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Teresa (McCluskey) Clement; daughters, Sherry Ramsdell and her husband, Steve, of Hollis, and Pamela Picard and her husband, Gerry, of Saco; grandchildren, Nichole Southworth and her husband, Aaron, of Porter, Matthew Ramsdell of Hollis, Kaitlin and Tiffany Picard of Saco; great-grandchildren Alyana, Zackery, and Hunter (a.k.a. Hector).

Mickey also leaves his sister-in-law, Carolyn Clement, nieces, Karen and Rhonda and their families. He will be missed by his many friends, both in Maine and Florida.

Mickey was predeceased by his parents; his brothers, Philip and Robert "Bobby"; and niece, Bonnie; as well as his in-laws, Marion and Paul Spinney.

A gathering will be held from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m., Saturday, June 16, 2018, with a Service of Remembrance at 1 p.m., at Cote Funeral Home Chapel, 87 James St., Saco. To view Mickey's memorial page please visit
