SACO - Gail R. Eschmann, 70, of Willowhaven Street, Saco, passed away Monday, Jan. 14, 2019 at the Maine Medical Center, in Portland. She was born in Rochester, N.H. Oct. 26, 1948, the daughter of Herman and Gertrude Cook Horne.

Gail attended local New Hampshire schools, Dover High School and Andover College, where she studied to be a Medical Assistant.

She was employed for many years as a CNA at Southridge Rehabilitation, in Biddeford.

Gail later worked for Community Partners and Dr. Morse, as a receptionist.

She enjoyed crocheting, playing poker card games with her family, watching The Price is Right, Lets Make a Deal and The Rifleman.

Gail is predeceased by a sister, Pamela Holland and two brothers, Herbert and Bruce Horn.

Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Daniel Eschmann of Saco; two sons, Wayne Gregoire of Rochester, N.H. and Edward Gregoire of Cleveland, Ohio; two daughters, Katherine Jacobsky and husband, Tony of Windham and Denise Smith and husband, Alvin of Brewer; a brother, Harold Horne of Lee, N.H. and Kathy Archambeault of Rochester, N.H., seven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Friends and relatives may call at the Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home 365 Main St., Saco, Saturday, Jan. 19, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

A 1 p.m. funeral service will be held at the funeral home, with Pastor Merle Mitchell Officiating.

Burial at a later date at Maine Veterans Cemetery in Springvale.
