She was active with the Sheepscot Lake Fish and Game, Tri-County Beekeepers, Central Maine Bird Fanciers, Palermo Extension and the Palermo Historical Society. She was a longtime member and supporter of the Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association (MOFGA), and was a certified Master Gardener.
Donna was predeceased by her parents; and by her brother, Norman. She leaves behind her husband John of 45 years; a daughter Heather of South Portland, a son Stuart (Alex) his wife Amy; and two grandchildren, Olivia and Adam of Old Orchard Beach. She is also survived by three sisters, Olive Bentum and her husband William of Calais, Carol Carlow of Falmouth and Jane Carlow of Gorham; and several nieces and nephews.
