Dana C. Morin
1949 – 2018

WESTBROOK - Dana C. Morin, 69, passed in the early morning of Oct. 4, 2018 after battling several debilitating ailments. He was born Jan. 9, 1949, the son of Albert and Beverly (Currier) Morin.

Dana who was a fixture of Westbrook was well known. He was a car enthusiast, motorcycles and above all loved and fondly recalled the days aboard his vessel "Cheez It" on Sebago Lake. He always talked about that trip up in the glider plane, a boyhood dream fulfilled. A graduate of Westrbrook H.S., a golden card member of the Eagles of Westbrook and the American Legion. He served honorably in the U.S. Army from 1967-1970 in the Vietnam War as a member of the 101st Airborne.

Dana was predeceased by his parents. His is survived by his, daughter Dara Morin; sisters, Sis, and Jane; brothers, Joe and Dave; several cousins; and nieces and nephews.

The family is thankful for the care he received at Maine Medical Center, all the veterans' hospital services and Gosnell for his final days.

A memorial service will be held 1:30PM Friday October 12, at the Westbrook Chapel of Dolby, Blais and Segee 35 Church Street, Westbrook. Graveside services to follow, Per Dana's wishes a social gathering at the Westbrook Eagles at 4:30 p.m.
