Donna H. Foss
OLD ORCHARD BEACH -- Donna H. Foss, of Old Orchard Beach, passed peacefully on Aug. 15, 2013, in Scarborough, after an inspirational three plus year battle with
She was born on Aug. 23, 1959, in Winchester, Mass., the daughter of Marjorie and Robert E. Dearth, and of the late Donald Hanson.
Donna was a Quinnipiac University alumnus, and longtime employee of the South Portland School District.
Donna was a wonderful person. She was as funny as she was strong; as smart as she was kind. She was a wonderful mom, and a great wife; a wonderful daughter, sister, and friend. She will always be our very beautiful (quite a hottie actually) and slightly tart, beach loving, sport cheering Donna!
She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Lance H. Foss; her two wonderful daughters, Gillian and Anna Foss; two sisters, Cindy O'Leary, married to Daniel O'Leary, and Patti Bonetti, married to Gregory Bonetti; and her mother-in-law, Anne Foss. She will be missed by her nieces Erin and Megan O'Leary; as well as numerous step-siblings, cousins, uncles and aunts.
We will be celebrating her life on Oct. 12, at 1 p.m., on the beach at the end of Winona Avenue in Ocean Park.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Maine Center for
