WESTBROOK -- Dorothy F. Malinowski, 91, formerly of Westbrook, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2013, at the Barron Center, with her family by her side.
She was born and raised in Westbrook, the daughter of Raymond and Bernice Larrabee Jordan. Dorothy lived her entire life in Westbrook.
She married Stanley Malinowksi, and lived together for over 50 years. Her family was her greatest enjoyment in her life. She loved to entertain, especially at her cottage on Sebago Lake. She also enjoyed boating around the islands in Casco Bay.
Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Stanley. She is survived by her daughter Jean and husband Michael Champagne of Gorham; and their three children, Alison Morrell, Dana Champagne, and Lisa Woodsum; and also a son Stanley and wife Andrea Malinowski; and their four children, Alan Moore, Chris Whidden, Patty Young, and Raymond Malinowski. Dorothy was also adored by nine great- grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. at the Woodlawn Cemetery, Stroudwater Street, Westbrook. For online condolences go to
