St. Pierre, 101
SANFORD -- Anne Marie St. Pierre, 101, of Sanford, died on Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012, at Maine Medical Center in Portland.
She was born in Bromptonville, PQ, Canada, the daughter of Emmanuel and Alexina (Faucher) Auger, and moved with her family to Maine at an early age. She was the widow of H.L. Philip St. Pierre, who predeceased her in 1994.
Anne Marie worked for many years in Sanford, Springvale, and Kennebunk.
She was a member of the Ladies of St. Ann, and had many varied interests. She was an artist, working in acrylics, and pen and ink drawings; a wonderful seamstress who designed clothing. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons, Jean C. St. Pierre of San Francisco, Calif., Michael F. St. Pierre of Wells, three daughters, Suzanne St. Pierre Dubois of Brunswick, Cecile Kennedy Low of South Carolina, Claire St. Pierre Michalowski of Connecticut; five grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, Aug. 31, 2012, at 1:30 p.m., at Holy Spirit Parish/St. Mary's Church, 236 Eldridge Rd., Wells.
