Dale V. Brown
WESTBROOK -- Dale V. Brown, of Mast Road, died on Jan. 13, 2012, after a long illness.
He was born in Norway on April 15, 1946, the son of Vivian and Florence (Learned) Brown.
Dale graduated from graduated from Westbrook High School 1964. He worked at the Star Theater and Vallee's Restaurant while in high school. After graduation, went to work for S.D. Warren, retiring in 2004.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, boating, snowmobiling and slot machines, but on the top of his list was his grandson, Jake!
He was predeceased by his parents; and a brother, David Brown. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Susan (Gowen) Brown; son Stephen, daughter Keara and grandson Jakob; sisters, Shirley Gerrish of Dover Foxcroft, Donna Gregory of Windham; and many wonderful nieces and nephews.
A memorial service to celebrate Dale's life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012, at Highland Lake Church, 1303 Bridgton Rd., Westbrook. A reception will follow. Arrangements are by Independent Death Care, Portland.
