Jeffrey K. Kennedy, 56
ENGLEWOOD, Fla. -- Jeffrey K. Kennedy, 56, of Englewood, Fla., formerly of Gray, passed away peacefully on Oct. 22, 2011.
Jeff was a graduate of South Portland High School. He then served six years active duty in the Air Force as a Titan II Missile Fuel Specialist until he was medically retired in 1980. Afterwards he worked for the Casco Post Office.
Jeff owned and operated K&K Reel Vision Video stores for 20 years with his wife and children. Jeff was very active with his children's sports, and umpired men's softball for several years. He became a resident of Englewood, Fla., in 2010.
In his free time Jeff loved traveling with his wife and family, cruising with friends, scuba diving, and especially being on the water with his children and grandchildren. He was an avid Red Sox fan, enjoyed going to the movies and looking for antiques. His spark and energy will be missed by many.
Jeff is survived by his high school sweetheart, and loving wife Margaret of 37 years; children, Jennifer (Roger) Keith, Thomas (Bridey) Kennedy, Robert (Amie) Kennedy and Christina (Reginald) Harmon; brothers, Gregory and Scott Kennedy; and grandchildren, Stephanie, Isaiah, Nevaeh, Rion and Lillian.
A service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 17, at 10 a.m., at Our of Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Windham. After the service, please join the family and friends in the church hall to share memories of Jeff. Feel free to bring along a picture or favorite memory in writing, so the family can add it to their memory book.
