David W. Libby, 52
POLAND -- David W. Libby, 52, died peacefully at his home on Feb. 21, 2010.
He was born in Brunswick on June 19, 1957, the son of Robert J. and June M. (Zwicker) Libby. David graduated from Stevens Christian School, Lenox, Mass. Class of 1977. He owned and operated D. W. Libby Maintenance for 18 years doing commercial cleaning for offices in the Portland Area.
David enjoyed fishing; camping and most of all riding his Harley motorcycle. He had an appreciation of all kinds of music and his favorite singer was Waylon Jennings. David had a love for dogs and especially his most recent companion, Scooter.
David is survived by his mother, June M. Libby of Poland; his loving wife of 32 years, Brenda L. (Bailey) Libby of Poland; three brothers and their wives, Hugh Zwicker of Standish, Leon Libby of Mt. Dora, Fla., and Leslie Libby of Gray; his mother and father-in-law, Shirley and Don Bailey of Clinton; and several nieces and nephew, whom he loved dearly.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on March 1, 2010, at Grace Fellowship Church, 29 Poplar St., with Pastor Robert White officiating. Arrangement are being handled by Dolby Funeral Chapel, Windham.
