John Crouch , 94
SOUTH PARIS --John Crouch passed away peacefully on August 28, 2008 in South Paris with granddaughters by his side. Born in New York City on July 13, 1914, he served in the Navy from 1942 to 1945. He worked for Pennsylvania Railroad which later merged with New York Railroad. He loved golf and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grand children. He touched many lives and was a source of joy to many.
He is survived by daughter Margaret Crouch of Portland and sons John Crouch Jr of South Paris, Michael Crouch, step daughter Carmela Morrison of Cape Elizabeth and step son Joseph Casale of Cumberland. He joins his step daughter Anita Casale Nitsche and wife Carmela Crouch in leaving this world. Special thanks to Maine Veterans Home in South Paris and Androscoggin Hospice. At the request of the family, no services will be held. Interment will be held at a later date at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Augusta. Arrangements under the direction of the Dolby Funeral Chapel, Windham.
