Fred Rogers Jr.
FRENCHTOWN TOWNSHIP -- Fred Rogers Jr. of Frenchtown Township and formerly of Naples died early Sunday morning at the C.A. Dean Hospital in Greenville. Fred was born in Naples and attended local schools. He served in World War II and participated in the Normandy Invasion. Fred along with his brother Howard previously owned and operated a speed boat business along the Causeway in Naples. He also built houses while in partnership with Don Paul. More recently he ran sporting camps in northern Maine with his wife Louise.
Fred is survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday morning at the Crooked River Cemetery in Naples. Arrangements are by Hall Funeral Home, Casco.
