SPRINGVALE -- Karen Lee Littlefield, 61, a resident of Springvale, died on Thursday, June 12, 2014, at her residence after a long illness.
Karen was born on July 3, 1952, in Biddeford, the daughter of George F. and Beverly M. (Dalton) Littlefield. She is a graduate of Kennebunk High School, class of 1969, and York County Community College, with an associate's degree in business accounting.
She and her spouse, Anne S. Milton, operated their painting and wallpapering business in York County for many years.
An active person, Karen enjoyed playing golf, carpentry, swimming, photography, travelling, sailing, and was known for her caring and generous spirit, freely giving to friends and acquaintances.
Survivors include her spouse, Anne S. Milton of Springvale, whom she married on Jan. 11, 2013; three brothers, Steven Littlefield of Woodland, Calif., Michael Littlefield of Biddeford, and Scott Littlefield of Boston, Mass.; and a large extended family.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 16, 2014, at St. David's Episcopal Church, Rt. 1 South, Kennebunk. Interment will be in Hope Cemetery, Kennebunk. Arrangements are in care of Bibber Memorial Chapel, Kennebunk. www.bibberfuneral.com.
