(Butland) Stults, 81
RAYMOND - Patricia Ann (Butland) Stults, 81, the daughter of Blair and Louise (Nutting) Butland, passed away on March 22, 2014. She was born in Portland on Sept. 18, 1932.
Pat was a graduate of Deering High School. She married the love of her life, Everett 'Shep' Stults, after graduation. Pat and Shep shared 62 wonderful years of marriage. She was an active member of campfire girls growing up, and later in life, she became a Girl Scout leader. Pat was also active in the Windham Garden Club and a life time member of Deering 59, Portland, Order of the Eastern Star. Pat and Shep enjoyed square and round dancing. She was best known for her hand crafted porcelain dolls, a love she shared with others by demonstrating at schools and nursing homes. Pat also helped several of her children and grandchildren to make their own dolls, along with giving classes. Pat worked at the Windham Schools so that she would have the same hours as her children. Summers, Pat could be found working in the garden and ticket taking at the Drive-In. She also spent much time sewing, making stuffed toys and clothing for the family.
Pat is survived by her three sons, Everett Shepard 'Shep' Stults, II and wife Jennifer of Raymond, Robert Blair 'Bob' Stults and wife Sybille of Windham, and William Elwood 'Bill' Stults and wife Andrea of Windham, four daughters, Mary Catherine 'Kate MacInnes and husband Bruce of New York, Patricia Lee 'Lee' Gagnon of Vassalboro, Sue-Ann Hodge and husband Carleton of Limington, and Roberta Lynn 'Lynn' Gagne of Windham; 16 grandchildren, Sonya Leach, Jennifer Loucks and husband Pat, Mary Allain, Robin Gagnon, Lisa Robles, Richard Hodge, Daniel Hodge and wife Kerrie, Courtney Rideout and husband Leon, Cody, Ben and Grace Stults, Stephanie Nelson-Stults, and Rebekah Gagne; 21 great grandchildren; and her sister Blair 'Bea' Etheridge and husband R. Freeman, III of Cousins Island.
