William S. Flint, 45
DURHAM -- William S. Flint, 45, passed away unexpectedly on Nov. 10, 2012. He was born in Glens Falls, N.Y., the son of Donald and Florence (Speyer) Flint, formerly of Hudson Falls, N.Y.
He was a life member of the Hudson Falls United Methodist Church. Bill graduated from Hudson Falls Senior High School in 1985 and attended the College of Saint Rose, Adirondack Community College, and the University of Maine.
He was employed at L.L. Bean of Freeport for 20 years as a Warehouse Supervisor. Bill was also in property management in Topsham.
He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and gardening. Bill also volunteered his time as a cook for community events and festivals in the Freeport area. He was proficient in tackling any carpentry or mechanical project from restoring homes to rebuilding engines.
Bill also loved his four nephews, Thomas Wheeler, Phillip Wheeler, Benjamin Wheeler, and Jacob Wheeler.
He was predeceased by his loving sister, Cynthia A. Flint-Ferguson. Survivors include his parents, Don and Florence Flint of Daytona Beach, Fla.; his sister, Donna Flint-Wheeler and her husband Paul K. Wheeler of Little Elm, Texas; and his four nephews, Thomas, Phillip, Benjamin and Jacob Wheeler of Little Elm, Texas.
Bill's family will greet friends on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main St., in Hudson Falls, N.Y. Funeral services will follow the calling hours on Saturday at 12 p.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. John Chensey, interim pastor of the Hudson Falls United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery in Ticonderoga. Condolences may be emailed to carletonfuneralhome@gmail.com.
