CAMDEN-- William G. Cook, Jr, 71, of Camden passed away at Windward Gardens in Camden Thursday, Dec. 26, 2012. He was born Dec. 23, 1941 in Manchester, N.H., the son of William G and Charlotte A. (Hopkins) Cook. William worked throughout his life as a Vice President of Sales and Marketing for office products. He was a member and volunteered at many local area locations, such as the Rockport Boat Club, Rockport YMCA, Merry Springs Nature Park, Pen Bay Volunteers, Coast Mountains Land Trust, Maine Island Trail, and Aldemere Farms.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Charlotte C. Cook; his sons, Andrew Cook and Eric Cook; his mother Charolotte A. Cook; brother Stephen Cook, sisters-in-law Doris and Carmen Cook; granddaughter Kensie; and nephews Daniel and David Cook.
Willliam was predeceased by his father; brother Peter Cook; and niece Melanie Cook.
Arrangements are under the care of Riposta Funeral home with Direct Cremation of Maine, 182 Waldo Ave. Belfast, ME 04915
