ALFRED - Timothy W. Adams, 77, of Alfred, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2015, at the Southern Maine Medical Center in Sanford. He was born on Nov. 1, 1937, in Portland, the son of the late Rexford and Ruth (Weymouth) Adams. In 1956, he graduated from Porter High School.
Following graduation he was employed at General Electric in Limerick for one year. He then enrolled at the University of Maine Portland/Gorham.

Known as Mr. Adams to the many students that he came in contact with through the years he was respected and remembered fondly. When speaking with Tim you could always expect his full attention. He always took the time to make whomever he was speaking with feel like they mattered to him the most.

He really had a way of making people feel loved whether you knew him as Mr. Adams, or Grampy or Dad. His loving kindness will be remembered by everyone who knew him. He had a positive effect on every person he came in contact with.
A communicant of St. Therese of Lisieux Parish, he was a Eucharistic Minister as well as a Lector. He was a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, St. Thomas Council, where he served as financial secretary.
