Thomas P. "Tom" Reardon Obituary
Thomas "Tom" P.
Reardon, 64
STANDISH - Thomas "Tom" P. Reardon, 64, died on Monday, Dec. 21, 2015, at his home. He was born in Portland, on Feb. 13, 1951, the son of Margaret (Foley) and John George Reardon, Sr.
Tom grew up in Portland, and moved to Standish in the 1970s. He was somewhat of a "Jack of All Trades" working in maintenance for many years at Shaws, and he also was employed at Portland Glass, Two Trails Diner, and followed in his brother's footsteps as a volunteer firefighter in Standish. Tom enjoyed walking in the neighborhood, visiting with his neighbors, and watching old movies, especially musicals. What he looked forward to the most, was the time he spent with his brother, Jack, opening and closing his camp on Moosehead.
Tom is survived by his brother, John "Jack" Reardon and his wife Jo Ann of Limington; four nieces, three nephews; six great-nieces and five great-nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Jeannine Johnson.
A period of visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 26, 2015, at the Dolby Funeral Chapel, 434 River Rd., Windham. Burial will be private. Condolences to the family may be expressed at
