Thomas Joseph Vigliotta, 70
LISBON FALLS -- Thomas Joseph Vigliotta, 70, of Lisbon Street, died on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, at his home with his loving family by his side.
He was born in Winthrop, Mass., on Feb. 7, 1943, the son of Biagio and Anna Delucia Vigliotta. He attended local schools there and graduated from Boston Technical High School.
On Feb. 8, 1975, he married Kathleen A. Earney in Winthrop, Mass. Together they made their home in Lisbon Falls.
Tom worked as a food distributor for Millbrook Distribution for many years before retiring due to illness. After recovering from cancer he went to work part-time for John D. Crafts Auto as a driver
Tom was an avid New England sports fan and also had great enjoyment from following his children during their school sporting events. He enjoyed bantering with everyone he met and at the stores he frequented daily, he was missed when he could no longer go due to ill health.
Tom was predeceased by a brother, Christopher Vigliotta and sister, Rose Marie Medeiros. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Vigliotta of Lisbon Falls; four sons, Mark Vigliotta of South Berwick, Gregory Vigliotta of Beverly, Mass., Thomas Vigliotta of Brooklyn, N.Y., Christopher Vigliotta of Portland, Ore.; two grandchildren, Deanna Vigliotta of Portland and Joseph Vigliotta of Danvers, Mass.; several nieces and nephews; and his good friend, 'The Professor,' his cat.
