Terri L. Albert, 50
PORTLAND - Terri L. Albert, 50, passed away unexpectedly on June 21, 2017, at Maine Medical Center, follow-ing a sudden illness.
Terri was born in Bangor, on Aug. 5, 1966, the daughter of the late Richard and Nancy (Pease) Albert. She attended local schools there, and graduated from Bangor High School in the Class of 1984. She furthered her education, graduating from Westbrook College.
Terri began her career at L.L.Bean and was employed there for many years. She spent the last 20 years in sales. She was employed with Madawaska Hardscape Company before going to work with Genest Landscape & Masonry Center. Most recently, she was employed at New England Specialty Stone.
She was a hard worker who considered her co-workers, and the many contractors she worked with, like family.
A positive attitude and a big heart empowered Terri to be a woman of great strength and character. Her love for life was infectious and it showed in her laugh and smile. She always put her friends first. "Ter Bear," as she was known by her closest friends, was described as a creative, endearing, forgiving, hopeful, humorous, talented person, as well as a very hard and loyal worker. She loved life, nature, being outdoors, music, flowers, cooking, and especially animals.
Terri was predeceased by both her parents, Richard Albert and Nancy Pease Albert; her beloved grandmother, Calla; and three uncles, Dan, Philip, and Carl Pease.
She is survived by her companion, Eugene V. Lagomarsino, of North Yarmouth; uncle, John, and his wife Gloria Pease, of Norridgewock; cousins, Judy Mitchell, of Eastport; and Cammie Rogers, of Augusta; along with several other aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her beloved cat, Oscar.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, July 15, 2017, at 1 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter Road, Cambridge. A gathering will follow at the Cambridge Town Hall. A Celebration of Life will take place in Portland on Aug. 5, 2017; details will be announced at a later time. Arrangements are under the direction of the
