Sandra L. (Hatt)
WINDHAM -- Sandra L. (Hatt) Leeman, 75, of Windham, died peacefully in her home on Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, with her family by her side. She was the wife of Robert M. Leeman.
She was born in Portland on Jan. 2, 1938, the daughter of the late Clinton W. and Violet (Caron) Hatt. She grew up in Westbrook and was a graduate of South Portland High School. While in high school Sandy was a majorette, cheerleader as well as a member of the tumbling team and the library staff.
She spent 30 years in the health care field; working as a Home Health Aide for Holy Innocents Community Health Services and as a CNA for Ledgewood Nursing Home.
Sandy enjoyed camping, swimming, clogging and gardening.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her four sons, John, Michael and Thomas Leeman, all of Windham, and Robert Leeman Jr. of Florida. She also leaves eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; as well as her sister, Jean Clemons of Gray, her two brothers, Edward Hatt of Hollis and Stephen Hatt of Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.
