OLD ORCHARD BEACH - Rose P. Bailer, 89, of Old Orchard Beach passed away Monday, August 28, 2017, at Seal Rock Healthcare in Saco. She was born in Clinton, Mass. on July 28, 1928, a daughter of Antonio and Giovania (Caparosa) Salvati.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed raising her family. She had a tremendous love for her family especially her grandchildren. She cherished having her family together at her home around the table for large meals and gatherings. Rose enjoyed attending the grandchildren's band concerts, recitals, and sporting events as well as her excursions to Foxwoods and Mohigan Sun with her husband, sister and best friend, Antoinette. She will remain forever in our hearts as we hold onto our last memories.
She was predeceased recently by her husband Lt. Donald W. Bailer, Jr.; her daughter Deborah (Bailer) Laflin; and by four siblings Rafella Worcester, Felix, Dominic and Catherine Salvati.
She is survived by three sons David Bailer and his wife Pat, Steven Bailer and his wife Karen, Paul Bailer and his wife Linda all of Scarborough and son-in-law Daniel Laflin of Hallowell; eight grandchildren Allison, Megan, Jake, Ryan, Kelsey, Grace, Emily and Jillian; two great-grandchildren Trey and Jordan; and several nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017, at St. John's Cemetery, 260 Cambridge St., Worcester, Mass.
