Kimball Sr., 60
HOLLIS -- Ronald Leon Kimball Sr., 60, of Deerwander Road, passed away on Dec. 5, 2012, at his home with his family by his side.
He was born in Biddeford on April 8, 1952, the son of the late Russell and Isabelle (Treadwell) Kimball.
After attending Thornton Academy, Ronald went on to serve his country in the USMC Reserves.
Ronald had worked for Spurwink School, handling all maintenance issues that arose.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, and poker nights. However, it was family time, such as family barbecues that was most important to Ronald. He treasured the time he spent with his family- especially with his children and grandchildren.
Ronald was a member of the Hollis Free Wheelers.
He was predeceased by his siblings, Rebecca Foss and Paul Kimball. Ronald is survived by his beloved wife, Sandra (Rowe) Kimball; sons, Ronald Kimball Jr. and his fiance Crystal Merrifield of Alfred, and Todd Kimball and his significant other Jessica Webber of Porter, daughter, Sonia St. Onge and her husband Brian of Lyman; siblings, Roger Kimball, Alice Kimball, Keith Kimball, and June Valliere; and seven beloved grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, Dec. 7, from 5-7 p.m., at the Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home, located on the corners of Rts. 202 and 4A (13 Portland Rd.) in Buxton (Bar Mills). A graveside service with USMC Honors will be held in the spring at Meeting House Hill Cemetery in Hollis.
