Pauline Salvucci, 69
WESTBROOK -- Surrounded by her closest friends, Pauline A. Salvucci, 69, of Westbrook, formerly
of Weymouth, Mass., died on Nov. 7, 2012, after a brief illness. She was a practicing
family therapist for 30 years and a teacher for 15 years before that.
Pauline was a passionate advocate for survivors of sexual and domestic abuse, for women's and animal rights as well as for those with disabilities. She wrote and published several books on caring for those living with chronic health conditions and their family caregivers and sold them through her Self-Care Connections, her internet coaching company.
Her creative spirit was expressed through her painting, writing, storytelling and her jewelry making. She was the founder and creator of Sirona Jewelry Designs, a website full of exquisite, custom creations.
Three of Pauline's special pleasures were rooting for the Red Sox, visiting and feeding the horses at the horse farm next door and playing with her cat, Jack.
Pauline was predeceased by her father, Lucio P. Salvucci, and her mother, Linda M. Salvucci. She was a dedicated and loyal friend who will be terribly missed by all those who knew and loved her as well as her beloved cat, Jack.
A graveside service will be held at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery in Weymouth, Mass.
Donations may be made to Preble Street Resource Center, Portland.
