Malcolm O. Bassett, USCG CWO #4 Ret., 77
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - Malcolm O. Bassett, USCG CWO #4 Ret., 77, formerly of Eastport, Maine, died peacefully on Nov. 20, 2017, in St. Petersburg, Fla.
He was pre-deceased by his wife of 31 years, Janet McCullum Bassett; a brother, Richard Bassett; and parents, George and Catherine Bassett. Malcolm is survived by his son, Bill Bassett; a daughter, Jana Bassett-Fulkerson; a sister, Carol Webster, and her husband Tom; a brother, George Bassett II; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service with military honors will be held Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2017, at noon at Calvary Cemetery, Broadway, South Portland. Arrangements are under the direction of the
Conroy-Tully Walker Funeral Home,
