Lindsay Marie (Manseau) Moore, 23
PORTLAND -- Lindsay Marie (Manseau) Moore, age 23, passed away on Monday, Feb. 18, 2013 at the Gosnell Hospice House in Scarborough. She was born in Portland, to Gerald and Melissa (Cady) Manseau of Scarborough. Lindsay was a multi-talented young lady whose experiences included circus performing on trapeze and photography. She was married on August 25, 2012 to Benjamin Moore and resided in Old Orchard Beach.
She attended Champlain College in Burlington, Vt., and graduated from the University of Southern Maine.
Lindsay's partnership with her mother in Life's Big Events, a photography business, led her to pursue a degree in Small Business and Entrepreneurship. She photographed many weddings and other memorable events. She was a leasing/rental agent for Schneider Property Management.
Her strength, grace and peace in her short battle with leukemia was inspirational to all of her family and medical experts, even as she sought to spare her friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, Lindsay is survived by her sister, Megan Manseau of Scarborough. Her maternal grandmother, Dorothy Cady of Dade City, Fla. and paternal grandfather, Hank Manseau of Scarborough. She is also survived by many aunts and uncles and cousins. She is survived by her mother-in-law, Eve Moore of Old Orchard Beach and father-in-law, David Moore of Portland, brothers in law Jon and David.
She was predeceased by her Grandfather, Stuart Cady of Maine and Florida and Grandmother, Dorothy Manseau of Scarborough.
In lieu of calling hours, an open house reception will be held at her parents' home at 11 Woodspell Rd. Scarborough on Friday, Feb. 22nd from 6 - 9 p.m. A service of Remembrance and Celebration of her life will be held Saturday, Feb. 23rd at 10 a.m. at Room With a View at the Portland Company Building, 58 Fore St. Portland. Her aunt, Rev Pamela Spain of Framingham, Mass. is officiating. For questions regarding the service call Rev Spain at 508-665-0697. A private interment will follow for the family.
