Laurie J. Kennedy, 58
WINDHAM -- Laurie J. Kennedy, of Windham, was born on April 9, 1954, in Portland.
Laurie and her long time companion John Holmes ran a small farm in Windham selling beef, pork, poultry and eggs. The primary farming business was producing hay.
Laurie is the daughter of Earle P. and Theo A. Lowell, both deceased of Windham. Laurie is survived by her companion, John M. Holmes, formerly of Gray; and her fake daughter, Ashley Severy and her husband Eric of Durham. Laurie is also survived by her brother, Dr. Nathan Lowell and his wife Kay; their two daughters, E.J. and Jennifer of Greely, Colo.; her sister, Rosanne Thomas and her husband Peter from Lincolnville; Rose's daughter, Melissa Getchell and her husband Stephen; their children, Meredith and Richard of Windham; her brother, Russel Lowell and wife Terry of Waterboro; their son Zachery in China; sister Dawna Lowell of Auburn; and her children, Tia and Nick; and Tia's son Aiden, also of Auburn. She is also survived by her step-brothers, Danny Litchfield of Scarborough, Warren Litchfield of Old Orchard, Raymond Litchfield of Keller, Texas; and step-sister, Susan Egert of Keller, Texas.
A memorial visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at Wilson Funeral Home, 24 Shaker Rd., Gray. Arrangements entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home, Gray.
