Heidi Lynne Ashton
PORTLAND -- Heidi Lynne Ashton, formerly 'Ginsberg,' passed away at MMC on Nov. 7, 2012, after a long illness.
Heidi was born in Winthrop, Mass., in 1956, the daughter to Irving and Janet Ginsberg. She is survived by two brothers; her son David; and her husband Alan.
She received her BA in Psychology and French from Duke University and received her MS from Washington University. She was employed by Marden's in Scarborough, where she was a hard worker and very well-liked by customers and co-workers. She had done volunteer work at MMC and also worked for Ingrham, at the hotline facility in Portland.
She was a joy to her friends and family and she will be greatly missed.
Services will be held on Sunday, Nov. 11, at 12:30 p.m., at the Levy Chapel, 471 Deering Ave., Portland. Immediately following the services, friends and family are invited to the auditorium at 100 State St., Portland, for refreshments. Arrangements by The Jewish Funeral Home, Portland.
