Harold M. Meader Jr., 77
AUGUSTA -- Harold M. Meader Jr., 77, of Augusta passed away on June 7th, 2013 in Augusta with his loving family by his side.
He was born on Dec. 27th, 1935 in Eastport, to Harold M. Meader Sr., and Catherine Meader.
He graduated Cony High School before entering the University of Maine at Farmington. Harold was a math teacher at both Lyman Moore Junior High and Westbrook High School. He enjoyed great success as a football coach at Lyman Moore and Track coach at Westbrook High School.
Harold is survived by his wife Charlotte I. Meader; his sons Michael and Jeffrey; his daughter Elizabeth; his sisters Mary Ann Tartre and Teresa Judkins; and also his grandchildren, nephews, and nieces.
A celebration of life will be held at Lisa's Restaurant, 15 Bangor St. Augusta, on Wednesday, June 12th, between 4 and 7pm. Condolences may be expressed at
