Craig D. MacMunn, 39
WASHINGTON - Craig D. MacMunn, 39, died unexpectedly on Monday, Oct. 2, 2017, at Maine Medical Center, in Portland. He was born in Rockport, on Jan. 29, 1978, the son of Alan D. and Jeanette (Jones) MacMunn.
Mr. MacMunn was a graduate of Medomak Valley High School and the University of Maine at Orono, where he earned his bachelor's degree in business.
He had been employed by Kaplan University for 12 years, serving as director of admissions in St. Louis, Mo.
Craig loved being in the outdoors, fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed baseball and football, as well as fantasy football. The Red Sox and Patriots were teams he watched most. Winter months were spent playing video games.
He was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity, out of the University of Maine in Orono, and kept in touch with many of his "brothers."
Mr. MacMunn is survived by his parents, Alan D. and Jeanette (Jones) MacMunn, of Washington; his brother, Christopher A. MacMunn, and his wife Jennifer, of Jensen Beach, Fla.; and his paternal grandmother, Rita MacMunn.
Relatives and friends may visit Monday, Oct. 9, from 10 a.m.-noon at Plummer Funeral Home, Windsor Chapel, 983 Ridge Rd., Route 32, Windsor, where a funeral service will be held at noon.
