Beverly J. Braley, 74
LIMINGTON -- Beverly J. Braley, 74, of Limington, died on Oct. 26, 2012, at the Southern Maine Medical Center in Biddeford after a long illness.
She was born in Limington on Feb. 16, 1938, the daughter of Philip E. and Katherine R. Chick Pulsifer. She attended Limington schools and graduated from Limington Academy. She married Keith Braley on Dec. 14, 1956.
Beverly was a stay at home Mom while her children were young. She worked for Sylvania for some time as a young woman and later worked for the United States Postal Service as a Postal Clerk in the area for over 30 years. She also worked for a few years at Braley's Market in the mid to late 1970s.
She enjoyed traveling, especially with her husband. She was a member of the Living Waters Christian Church and a member of the 'Army of 300,' which was affiliated with the Mark Swiger Ministries.
Above all, Beverly was a loving and devoted homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed family gatherings with her loving family.
Besides her parents and her husband, Keith Braley, she was predeceased by two sisters, Marjorie Lear and Ruth Jones and Ruth's husband Cecil. Surviving are two sons, Gary Braley and wife Cheryl of Limington and William Braley and wife Kristen of Standish, a daughter, Cynthia Nolette and husband Rick of Limington; a brother, Philip M. Pulsifer and wife Jean of Gray, two sisters, Frances Mee and husband Norman of Newfield and Sylvia Bouchey and family of Standish; a brother-in-law, Stanley Lear of Portland; as well as 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, with one on the way; several nieces and nephews; and a large loving extended family.
Visiting hours will be on Thursday, Nov. 1, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Watson, Neal & York Funeral Home, 71 Maple St., Cornish. A funeral will be on Friday, Nov. 2, at 11 a.m., at the Living Waters Christian Church in Buxton (address below). Burial will follow at Limington Village Cemetery.
