Andrew S. Pease, 57
GORHAM - Andrew S. Pease, 57, died from complications of Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) in Miami, Fla. on May 11, 2017. He was born on March 29, 1960, a son of Ronald and Carolyn (Bray) Pease.
He grew up in Gorham, becoming an eagle scout before graduating from Gorham High School in the class of 1978. He furthered his education at the University of Maine at Orono, where he met his future wife, Manya Dombkowski, and they were married on June 19, 1982.
With a successful career in finance, Andy was a thoughtful man, being exceptionally generous to others of his time and resources. Active in the community, some of his endeavors include a past board member of The Preble Street, President of GYSA, and volunteering with Maine Handicapped Skiing.
Andy's family was his pride and joy. He enjoyed being active in all facets of his life, whether that was on the water, mountains, or soccer field. He was happiest at his family camp in Friendship surrounded by the people he loved. Andy will be remembered as a jovial family man with a twinkle in his eye and smile on his face.
He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Manya Pease; children, Megan LaSante and her husband Jeff, and their two children Clark and Griffin, Anna Delaney and her husband Alan, and Isaac Pease; parents, Ronald and Carolyn (Bray) Pease; sisters, Jill Brown and her husband, Roger and Julie Hamlin and her husband Bob.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2017, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Dolby Funeral Chapel, 76 State St., Gorham, ME 04038. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 18, at 1 p.m. at the South Gorham Baptist Church, 53 County Rd., Gorham, ME 04038.
