Phyllis D. Molasky, 87
SOUTH PORTLAND - Phyllis D. Molasky, 87, a longtime resident of Scarborough, passed away at her home in South Carolina on the 22nd of February, following a brief illness.
Born on Nov. 14, 1925, she resided in South Portland until the early 1950s when she married and moved to Scarborough. She later relocated to Summerville, S.C. to be close to her daughters. Phyllis attended South Portland High School and was a homemaker. She loved dogs, and enjoyed reading, crocheting, and spending time with her family.
She is predeceased by her husband, James M. Molasky, and survived by her two daughters, Gayle Kirby of N. Charleston, S.C. and Julie Thould of Summerville, S.C.; three grandchildren, Eric Brimstin, residing in Chicago, Ill., Bryan and Michael Bledsoe of Summerville, S.C.; and one great-granddaughter, Amberly Anne Bledsoe, of Summerville, S.C.
Graveside services are planned for Thursday, Feb. 28th at 12:00 noon at Forest City Cemetery, 232 Lincoln St., South Portland, ME 04106, followed by a gathering for family and friends. Final arrangements are being handled by Hobbs Funeral Home, 230 Cottage Rd, S. Portland, ME 04106.
