Pauline F (Pray) Wyman, 91
SOUTH PORTLAND -- Pauline F (Pray) Wyman of South Portland, passed away peacefully on Feb. 7, 2013, at the age of 91, wife of the late area pharmacist, Edward L Wyman. She was born in Madison, Maine, the daughter of Charles H. and Maebelle (Spearin) Pray.
She is survived by two sons, Frank and wife Mary Lou of Pittsburgh, Penn. and David and wife Maryellen of Arlington, Mass.; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Ruth Marie (Gatchell) Phillips of Westbrook; cousins; nieces and nephews.
She attended North Yarmouth Academy and graduated from Cape Elizabeth High School. She retired as office manager, from Shaw's Supermarkets, working at Mill Creek and Northgate. She was a long-term member of the Rebeckahs/OddFellows and the First Congregational Church on Cottage Road. She was an amazing knitter, avid cook, baker, seamstress, and a global traveler. Pauline lived in the Willard Square area for 70 years, after growing up in Harpswell, where burial will be private.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Friday, March 1 at Hobbs Funeral Home, 230 Cottage Road, South Portland. The memorial service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 2 at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed online at .
