Patricia Ann Yates

Patricia Ann Yates
PORTLAND -- Patricia Ann Yates (Knight), of Portland, left us unexpectedly on Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012.
Patricia was born on Jan. 18, 1949, to Philbrook and Lillian Knight. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Yates; and her father, Philbrook Knight. She is survived by her mother, Lillian Knight; her daughter, Sarah Thibeau of Portland, her son, Allen (Alisha) Yates of South Portland; her grandchildren, Alexander, Logan, and Bronson; and an innumerable amount of people lucky enough to have shared time in this life with her.
Patricia was a devoted employee of Portland Center for Assisted Living for many years. When her time was not spent caring for others, she was visiting any craft store within a 50 mile radius. She enjoyed making everything from bracelets to soaps. Though her greatest joy in life came from being 'Mimi.' Her generosity was boundless, and if Patricia Yates called you her friend there was never any question about the shirt on her back, she would've already given it to you.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Patricia's life on Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at 6 p.m., for a memorial service, with a reception to follow at A.T. Hutchins Funeral and Cremation Services, 660 Brighton Ave., Portland. To offer words of condolence and share memories with the family, please go to the obituaries section at www.athutchins.com.
